The Ultimate Gothic Hotel

If you haven’t seen the sublime interiors of San Diego’s Britt Scripps Inn, then you’ve been missing out.  The sophisticated aesthetics of this gothic/renaissance hotel are beyond words.  The building itself dates to 1887 and is built in elegant, Queen Anne architecture.  Victorian furniture, intricate woodwork, stained glass windows, opaque lighting, and sumptuous antique rugs on hardwood floors all combine to create a one-of-a-kind experience.
