Three of the Most Macabre Tourist Attractions Opening This Year

Jaunted.com gives us a list of three of the most macabre tourist attractions opening this year:

The first is the “Old Sparky” electric chair (which executed 315 prisoners during its tenure) exhibit, which opened April 1st in Columbus, Ohio’s Historical Museum.  The second is the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant in Ukraine, which will now be open to public tourism.  And finally, Adolf Hitler’s Eastern Front Headquarters, called Wehrwolf, has been turned into a museum (the site was built by 10,000 Russian war prisoners and 1,000 locals–2,000 workers ended up dying and another 4,000 were slaughtered in the process).
