Black Crushed Velvet Nursery Chair

Everything from the Ghost Furniture website is simply exquisite

This is a fine example of a Victorian Nursery Chair, in excellent condition when we found it at an antiques fair in Northumberland. Fabulous deep buttoned, scrolled top backrest and upholstered in a vintage black crushed velvet.

We have added a little surprise to the back of the chair by placing a stunning antique tassel, found in a Parisian flea market. This intricate tassel is made from pewter metallic thread and topped with a tiny burgundy rosette.

We have finished the chair with a matte Kohl paint, specially mixed for us in France and highlighted the intricate carvings with pewter.

Measurements: 64cms High x 40cms Wide x 40cms Deep
